fun.Jumping20th Anniversary Opening Weekend

September 24-25
Join us as we open the farm for the 20th season!  To celebrate this milestone anniversary, we are rolling back admission prices to that of our inaugural season.  Admission to the farm will be just $6 per person!  This special rollback pricing will continue through Thursday, September 29th.

WHeroes Weekend

September 24-25
Join Summers Farm in honoring America’s bravest men and women who place service before self to keep our families safe every day.  This weekend, active duty members and veterans of the United States Armed Forces and First Responders (firefighters, EMT’s and police) are admitted free with a valid ID.  Immediate family members are admitted at the discounted rate of $6 per person.  Throughout the remainder of the season, we are proud to offer these heroes and their families a 10% discount on admission.

ev.run7th Annual Great Pumpkin Race

Whether you are an avid runner or a weekend warrior, you will want to come to Summers Farm for our 7th Annual Great Pumpkin Race benefitting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  This challenging cross country course runs throughout the farm and adjoining fields.  The 1 mile Fun Run is a shorter but still scenic route.  All participants will receive refreshments and free admission ticket to Summers Farm on race day.

ev.scoutsGirl Scout & Boy Scout Weekend

October 1-2  RESCHEDULED FOR OCTOBER 29-30
Join us for a fun filled outing at the farm with your troop!  Wear your Girl Scout sash or vest or Boy Scout uniform shirt during Girl Scout and Boy Scout Weekend and receive a complimentary participation patch.  Patches will be available while supplies last during the remainder of the fall season for $1 each.  Regular admission – $13.95 per person.  Group rate (15 or more people) – $11.95 per person with 2 leaders free.  Groups of 50 or more, $10.95 per person.  Groups of 100 or more, $9.95 per person.  Group tickets must be purchased in one transaction in order to receive the discounted rate.  Rent a campfire for an additional fee.  Campfire reservations required.  If your troop is unable to attend during Girl Scout  and Boy Scout Weekend, our Group Discounts are available throughout our fall season.

Join us at the Silo Stage for music during the afternoon. After you’ve enjoyed the music, make sure you stick around for our spectacular fireworks display at dusk. This event is a real favorite with our farm visitors. See the Silo Stage entertainment schedule for details.

ev.petsPet Adoption Day

October 1, 10am – 2pm and October 21, 11am – 3pm
Come to the farm and visit with some of the animals available for adoption at the Frederick County Animal Shelter.  Shelter staff and volunteers will be on hand to help you find the perfect pet and answer all of your questions.  We’re looking forward to finding “Forever Homes” for some of our furry friends!

Back by popular demand, Summers Farm is offering its School Daze Craze event.  This year we will open the farm to the public at 10:30 am with special rates on designated School Daze Craze dates.  Buy one day time Adventure Admission at regular price and get the second one half-price!

While thousands of you have come to experience our annual offerings, such as the corn maze, hay slides, farm animals, wagon rides, pumpkin patch, pig races and jumping  pillow, the addition of the Maryland Pumpkin Festival weekend adds so much more. Come join us at Summers Farm to celebrate all things pumpkin!  Included during the Maryland Pumpkin Festival will be an appearance by Mr. Brown the Clown,  pumpkin hunts, egg hunts, pumpkin sculpturing demonstration, face painting and more!  We’ll also have live bluegrass music each day on our Silo Stage.

oriolebirdThe Oriole Bird Appearances

October 16, 4-6pm; October 22, 3-5pm
The Baltimore Orioles official team mascot and goodwill ambassador, The Oriole Bird, will be making several appearance at Summers Farm!  Join us and jump on the jumping pillow or slide down the giant slides with this featherweight!
