Military Appreciation Weekend

September 25-26 (10am- 7pm)
Honoring our Soldiers! Active duty members of the U.S Armed Forces are admitted free with valid military I.D.  Immediate family members are admitted at half price!

First Annual Great Pumpkin Race (5K/1 Mile Fun Run)

September 26 (8am)

Summers Farm and 99.9WFRE are happy to present the First Annual Great Pumpkin Race benefitting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  The cross country course will run throughout Summers Farm including a run through the corn and adjoining fields.  Participants will receive refreshments, a commemorative t-shirt (guaranteed for all who register before September 18th) and one free admission to Summers Farm Adventure to be used on race day.  Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers across 8 age divisions.  The 5K Run early bird fee (before September 18th) is $10 for students under 18 and $20 for adults.  After September 18th, the fee is $15 for students under 18 and $25 for adults.  The fee for the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk is $7.  All entry fees go directly to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  Click on the “Great Pumpkin Fun Run” link here on our website to find out how to register.

School Daze Craze

Back by popular demand, Summers Farm Adventure is offering its School Daze Craze event! We open the farm at 1pm with special rates on designated School Daze Craze dates. Buy one day time Adventure Admission at $6.50 and get the second one half-price!

Homeschool Day

Wednesday, September 29th (10am-noon)
Between the maze and our Festival Activities, spend a morning with your home school friends!   Have a field day of excitement in 10 acres of corn- stalk wilderness, giant slides, hayrides, and more! Just $6.50 per person for a morning of memories and fresh air!  Choose either the Pumpkin Tour or Self-Guided Corn Maze Tour.  The Pumpkin Tour, geared for pre-school to 1st grade, includes a presentation from one of our farmers. The Self-Guided Corn Maze Tour, geared for 2nd-4th grade students, includes educational questions to help navigate the maze. All tours include a small pumpkin, juice, and all weekday activities. While our educational tours are from 10 am – 12 pm, you are welcome to stay and enjoy the farm until we close at 7 pm.

Grandparents Weekend

October 2-3 (10am-7pm)
Kids spend a day with your grandparents at Summers Farm! Grandparents admitted free this weekend.

Fire Engine Days

Saturday, October 9-10, 16-17, and 24 (11am- 3pm)
Climb aboard a fire truck! Summers Farm welcomes the Braddock Heights Fire Department to celebrate our family-fun weekend festival!

Girl Scout & Boy Scout Weekends

October 1-2 (6-10:30 pm)
Moonlight Maze – Friday & Saturday night.  Last ticket sold at 9:30 pm. Flashlights required.
October 2-3 (10am-7 pm)
Join us for a fun filled outing at the farm with your troop! Group rate (15 or more people) – $7.50 per person with two leaders free. Patches are available for purchase while supplies last. If your troop is unable to attend during Scout Weekend, our group rate is available throughout our fall season.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Day

October 9 (11am-1pm)
Summers Farm, 99.9 WFRE and several sponsors team up to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Join us that evening for fireworks at Summers Farm as we celebrate a day of fund raising for a worthy cause.
