Teacher Appreciation Weekend RESCHEDULED FOR OCTOBER 8th AND 9th

A teacher (with valid school ID) and one guest will be admitted free to the farm.
Second Annual Great Pumpkin Race (5K/1 Mile Fun Run)
September 25th (9am)
Summers Farm and 99.9WFRE are happy to present the Second Annual Great Pumpkin Race benefitting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The cross country course will run throughout Summers Farm including a run through the corn and adjoining fields. Participants will receive refreshments, a commemorative t-shirt (guaranteed for all who register before September 2nd) and one free admission to Summers Farm Adventure. Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers across 8 age divisions. The 5K Run early bird fee (before September 2nd) is $10 for students under 18 and $20 for adults. After September 2nd, the fee is $15 for students under 18 and $25 for adults. The fee for the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk is $7.
School Daze Craze

Back by popular demand, Summers Farm Adventure is offering its School Daze Craze event! We open the farm at 1pm with special rates on designated School Daze Craze dates. Buy one day time Adventure Admission at $6.50 and get the second one half-price!
Homeschool Day
Wednesday, September 28th (10am-noon) RESCHEDULED FOR MONDAY, OCTOBER 3RD
Between the maze and our Festival Activities, spend a morning with your home school friends! Have a field day of excitement in 10 acres of corn- stalk wilderness, giant slides, hayrides, and more! Just $6.50 per person for a morning of memories and fresh air! Choose either the Pumpkin Tour or Self-Guided Corn Maze Tour. The Pumpkin Tour, geared for pre-school to 1st grade, includes a presentation from one of our farmers. The Self-Guided Corn Maze Tour, geared for 2nd-4th grade students, includes educational questions to help navigate the maze. All tours include a small pumpkin, juice, and all weekday activities. While our educational tours are from 10 am – 12 pm, you are welcome to stay and enjoy the farm until we close at 7 pm.
Grandparents Weekend RESCHEDULED FOR OCTOBER 8th AND 9th

Kids spend a day with your grandparents at Summers Farm! Grandparents admitted free this weekend.
Safety Weekend
October 1st (12pm-4pm)
Come to Summers Farm this Saturday to visit with McGruff the Crime Dog and gather lots of valuable information about staying safe at home, at school and in your community! You’ll be able to get an up-close look at the Frederick County Sheriff’s Department’s Mobile Command Bus and a fire engine from the Braddock Heights Volunteer Fire Company. The Frederick County Sheriff’s Department will also be handing out fingerprinting kits while supplies last!
Girl Scout & Boy Scout Weekends
September 30th (5-10:30 pm), October 1st (10am-10:30 pm), October 2nd (10am-7pm)
Join us for a fun filled outing at the farm with your troop! Group rate (15 or more people) – $7.50 per person with two leaders free. Patches are available for purchase while supplies last. Moonlight Maze – Friday & Saturday night. Last ticket sold at 9:30 pm. Flashlights required. If your troop is unable to attend during Scout Weekend, our group rate is available throughout our fall season.
Heroes Weekend
October 8th (10am-10:30pm) and October 9th (10am-7pm)
We’re saluting our American heroes! To honor their commitment, all active duty members of the United States Armed Forces and First Responders (firefighters, EMT’s and police) are admitted free this weekend with valid ID! Immediate family members are admitted at half price!
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Day
October 8th (1pm-4pm)
Summers Farm, 99.9 WFRE and several sponsors team up to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Join us that evening for fireworks at Summers Farm as we celebrate a day of fund raising for a worthy cause.
Maryland Pumpkin Festival
October 15-16 (10am-5pm)While thousands of you have come to experience our annual offerings, such as the corn maze, hay slides, farm animals, hay rides, pumpkin patch, pig races and jumping pillow, the addition of the Maryland Pumpkin Festival weekend adds so much more. Come join us at Summers Farm to celebrate all things pumpkin! Included during the Maryland Pumpkin Festival will be pie eating contests, seed spitting contests, pumpkin hunts, egg hunts, face painting, live music and more!
