Great Pumpkin Fun Run

Summers Farm and 99.9 WFRE are happy to present the First Annual Great Pumpkin Race benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital!
 

When: September 26, 2010 at 8am (Registration and packet pick-up begins at 6:30am)
Where: Summers Farm in Frederick, MD
Course:  The cross-country course will run throughout Summers Farm, including a run through the corn and adjoining fields.
Amenities:  T-shirts (guaranteed for all participants registered before September 18th), one free admission for Summers Farm to be used on race day and refreshments.

Late registration will be accepted on this date.

Sunday, September 26, 2010
6:30 a.m.     Registration and parking
8:00 a.m.     5K Run
8:15 a.m.     1 Mile Fun Run/Walk

Awards
Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers, both male and female, across 8 age divisions (under 15; 15 to 20; 21 to 29; 30 to 39; 40 to 49; 50 to 59; 60 to 69; 70 and above).

Awards will be large pumpkins for all first place winners, and medium pumpkins for all second place finishers, and small pumpkins for all third place finishers.  T-shirts cannot be guaranteed for those who register on race day, but will be provided if available.

 

Entry Fee:

The 5K run Early Bird fee (before September 18th) is $10 for students under 18 and $20 for adults.  After September 18th the fee is $15 for students under 18 and $25 for adults.  The fee for the 1 mile Fun Run/Walk is $7.

REMEMBER, THE DEADLINE FOR EARLY REGISTRATION IS SEPTEMBER 18th.
